Lucy has sourced everything in the collection herself over multiple trips, travelling by motorbike into remote villages and markets to meet with people and learn about their textile traditions. The majority of the items have been acquired directly from the makers of the textiles or from their descendants. The collection covers the past 100 years with a few older items.
Lucy is working towards digitising the entire collection and making it available as an online resource.
